Iran's first entry to the Academy Awards for Foreign Picture is a charming children's tale about Ali, a young boy who accidentally loses his sister Zahra's shoes. Fearful of their father's wrath, they decide to share Ali's shoes instead. They work out an ingenius plan whereby Zahra wears them to school in the morning, and Ali wears them to afternoon class. Naturally, complications both amusing and touching ensue.
